Christopher Holland is the Principal Surveyor of Holland Geospatial, LLC—a professional land surveying and mapping firm built on over 30 years of practical experience and a deep commitment to serving Texas. A sixth-generation Texan, Chris brings local knowledge and a reputation for precision, integrity, and client-focused service. From staking a fence line to surveying large commercial tracts, clients rely on him for accurate, legally defensible surveys and actionable mapping solutions.

Education & Credentials

Chris holds a Master’s degree in Applied Geography with a focus on Cartography and GIS from Texas State University and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Texas A&M University. He became a Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor in 2002 and has since led surveying efforts across Central, South, and West Texas on a wide range of boundary, topographic, and infrastructure projects. He founded Holland Geospatial in 2025 to provide responsive, high-quality service to clients who value experience, transparency, and technical expertise.

Career Highlights

Before launching his firm, Chris spent nearly 24 years with the Lower Colorado River Authority, rising from Survey Technician to Surveyor Lead. He managed high-stakes survey projects tied to infrastructure, utilities, and land stewardship—routinely coordinating with engineers, attorneys, contractors, and public agencies. During his tenure, he played a leadership role in integrating UAV and GIS technologies into modern survey workflows, championing best practices that upheld both technical standards and ethical responsibility.

Military Service & Values

Chris proudly served over two decades in the Texas Army National Guard, retiring as a Staff Sergeant. His service—highlighted by a Bronze Star and a Meritorious Service Medal—reflects the discipline, reliability, and attention to detail he brings to every surveying project.
